How? How do we become one?

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. ~John 17:21

I believe that the struggle for the church to become one will be found through shared pain and joy.

It can’t be bought or rented. It can’t be achieved in a sound-bite, in a well prepared sermon or a nice evening meal. It must be found in the valley. It must be wrenched from the bowels of brokenness and defeat. It must be discovered by leaving the ninety nine to go after the one.

Only then will your brother or sister in Christ know that you love like Jesus. Only then will YOU know that you love like Jesus.

Only then will the church come together as one.
